I really wasn't expecting this mini-series (turned long-series!) to go on for this long, but I'm no where near finished with this game!

I finally finished the main-quest storyline for the Shivering Isles expansion pack. I'm going to return to finish the SI side-quests in the settlements after I finish the Knights Of Nine plug-in. In the end, I was forced to wipe out the "Forces Of Order" from the Shivering Isles as they threatened to take over the Isles themselves. They look like armoured soldiers covered in blocks of ice and they wield longswords worth 1.2k! They're easy to defeat as well so all the better! They're also led by their leader, Jyggalag and an unexpected turn of events occurs at the end (which I won't give away, don't worry). Anyway, Jyggalag was supposed to be hard, but he lasted no more than 1 minute against my Perfect Madness Sword and Perfect Madness full armour set (fully enchanted). I managed to reach level 27 today as well after leveling up my Light Armour skill to 51. This is hard as i'm taking a lot of damage, even with the best set of Light Armour, Amber Armour. At the moment it only gives half the defense of my fully enchanted Madness Armour.

I have gained tonnes of unique weapons and armour from the SI expansion as well and it's all on display in my house, Rosethorn Hall. Best of all, I also made my first 100k today selling the swords from the Order Soldiers. I'm now concentrating only on leveling up my Magic skills and my Light Armour and perhaps even Marksman skills. Oh', and I almost forgot, I'm a master Armourer meaning my repair hammers last forever and I only ever need to hold onto one.

Battlefield: Bad Company - PS3

I bought this yesterday in Gamestation for £7.99, which is a decent price for what i've experienced so far!

Battlefield: Bad Company plays a lot like Call Of Duty but has a freeroaming side to it. Your allowed to freely explore the large-ish environments where the battles take place, collecting spare ammo and new rare weapons before heading to the next checkpoint and continuing with the story. The storyline is great so far, and fairly funny. It follows 4 former-criminals who instead of serving there time, choose to join the army in the "Bad Company" division. Bad Company is home to all the outlaws and misfits and is generally known as expendable. You play as Preston, the new guy, who is placed with 3 other squadmates, Sweetwater (the nerdy one), Haggard (Hi-Explosives expert) and Redford (Your in-game Seargeant). The game is built with a special next-gen "Frostbite" engine which allows you to blow up the environment to alter the course of the battle. Basically, you can grab an RPG and blow a whole in a wall instead of suing the front door... sweet!

There's a variety of classes for online mode (which i've been playing a whole lot of), including Demolition, Sniper and Assault. There's lots of vehicles as well and it's epic online when you're stuck in a a tank battle or launching missiles to hinder the oppositions ground troops from a helicopter-gunship. Instead of being sent back to your last checkpoint when you die and having to redo it again. Your sent back to the checkpoint in real-time after you died. In other words, if you just blew up a building and killed 5 russian soldiers then got blown to bits, the Russians are still dead and the building's still wrecked when you respawn! Also, instead of health regen you have to inject yourself with an Epi-pen thing which automatically restores all of your health. You have to but this with credits online when you level up.

Anyway, it's a great game so far and the trophies are once again, rolling in!

Continuing with the Shivering Isles expansion, i've progressed a little further in the storyline. This Daedric Prince guy that rules the land, Sheogorath, made me go to this abandoned ruin and collect 3 Focus Stones in there and make an Obelisk thing work again so that the ruins would lure in adventurers who could then be killed inside there via traps. That was a long sentence! Anyway, i went there and it was infested with those Grummite things. They're actually kinda easy.

I got a load of Madstone which i'm going to make into Madness Armour and Weapons. Right now though, i'm really tired as i spent most of the day round a friends house beating him on Black-Ops. Going to bed now!

Well, I moved onto the Shivering Isles expansion pack today, although I didn't play for too long. I entered the portal and this wierd guy in a room told me that the God of Madness Sheogorath wants to see me in his temple or something, but, he also said i'd have to get past the Gatekeeper that guards and holds the keys to 'Madness' and 'Dementia'. Both of these places are sort of counties like the county of 'Skingrad' in Cyrodill for example. There are a lot of new monsters too. There are these weird swimming humanoid blue crocodiles. At first I just saw some water movement in a nearby lake. When I got closer, it jumped out at me. There are these strange Treant type creatures as well. I can't remember what they're called, but there's two type, one harder than the other. The Shivering Isles is a weird place, and kind of scary actually. It's fun as there's a dozen new weapons and a load of other stuff too.

That's basically all I did. I forgot to mention I also completed the Fighting Guild quests and the Dark Brotherhood quests last week. At the end of the Fighting Guild quests there's an awesome helmet you are rewarded with that isn't too bad to be honest. More on Oblivion tomorrow!

A mere hour before I hit my 100th hour playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion I finished the main storyline. The last quests were actually relatively easy, whether it is because i'm ridicuously over-strenghtened with the best armour and very good weapons or because the last quests are plain easy I don't know. I'm not sure whether i've mentioned it yet, but I have the best armour (Daedric) and have enchanted each piece to fortify my Magic, Strength, Willpower and Intelligence. I've been training my magic for a while now. I'm also a Master (100 skill level) in Armourer, Security and Heavy Armour meaning I can repair anything and everything without breaking my repair hammers, use the legendary Skeleton Key to 100% sucessfully pick any lock and run without decreased speed whilst wearing heavy armours. I don't want to give away any of the main storyline incase anyone reading this has not yet completed it, but you get a decent unique set of armour at the end.

There are still loads of quests I can complete to completely finish this game to the max, but, i'm officialy removing this game from my Unifinished games list because i've completed the main storyline. I still have to complete the expansions seperately as well though.

I'm going to start them tomorrow, but i'm intruiged by DJPimpDaddy's post about finding the uber rare bigfoot and might take a look into that first...

I have done a lot since my last post about Oblivion... a lot! I have leveled up to 24 and have the largest amount of Strength you can possibly have. This makes both my weapons deadlier and allows me to carry loads more lb's of loot. I bought the best house in Skingrad as well and after i'd bought all of the furnishings i'd spent around 50k on the whole package! Higher levels means better loot and better armour and weapons found on enemies, selling these adds up to heaps of cash. I have the best armour too, Daedric heavy armour which i enchanted myself after I gained access the Arcane University.

The Arcane University is epic. If you haven't got access to it yet, get access to it! You can enchant weapons and armour and even create your own spells... at a cost of course. You need Soul Gems as well, the larger the Soul the more magic you can put into your enchantments. I enchanted each of my pieces of Daedric armour with individual stat increases so that each stat is covered - it's proved to be very useful so far!

I've also been completing old quests I never started when I got them. Some of them are much easier than others, but because they're old quests from when I was in the lower levels, the rewards kinda suck. 've made lots of trips into Oblivion now and have shut about 5 gates I think. They're not that hard, but if you run from enemies then they all group up on you later which proves kinda tricky and certainly backfires on you. I think i'm near to completing the main storyline quest as well. I have to go and get help from all the cities to send support to Bruma which is under attack from Daedra.

Yeah, this game is ultra addictive, i'm fast approaching my 100th hour! My blog's 1st anniversary is coming up to! I might post something special then...

Killzone 2 Finished

I spent most of yesterday and part of today working on getting the main campaign done and I suceeded with flying colours (and a Silver PSN Trophy at the end along with about a dozen bronzes throughout)

It wasn't too bad a game to be honest, my first impressions were wrong, it's better than i first thought. It does take a little while to get used to the controls I thought though.

There's quite a variety in enemies appearing as different Helghast infantry types, sentry droids, bugs etc. I also thought it was a nice touch as you went through and saw all of the different soldiers and work out how to defeat them. The big fat ones are fun to kill as you have to shoot them in the head so that they turn around and then shoot the red tanks on their back to blow them up. I remember shooting one in the head with a pistol then RPG'ing the tanks, that was funny

Anyway, the storyline was great, although a little too short for my liking. I've never played KZ1 so i had to research the back-story, although, i suppose that was my own fault anyway. Good game, fun to play and look at. I'm going to continue playing online multiplayer as well.
