Rayman 2 nearly finished

When I was around 5 or 6 I discovered Rayman and he was my favourite game character, I played Ubisoft's Rayman 2: The Great Escape on PC and loved it. I got stuck on one level called 'The cave Of Bad Dreams'.
I lost interest and never returned to it.

When I got my DS Lite in 2005 I bought a game - you guessed it, Rayman DS! It was a remake of the Great Escape. I got past 'The Cave Of Bad Dreams' and progressed to 'The Sanctuary of stone of fire'. I couldn't do it... I lost interest once again.

Until now! Since last week I have got to the final boss stage, which, quite frankly is impossible. The first bit requires you to hit bombs back at Razorbead's Robot 3 times, easy. The second bit requires you to fly around on a rocket propelled flying shell a few feet above a boiling hot magma lake which can kill you instantly whilst grabbing virtually unreachable missiles which is hard because it is really hard not to die whilst getting them and kill Razorbead's Robot without being killed by his unavoidable homing missiles which can kill you with one hit...

I'll try again...

Thanks for viewing people, I now have over 100 views! I know it's not much, but still, it feels cool to have my blog on the go! Moving on, I have completed campaign mode on COD 4: Reflex - Wii and i am a level 21 on online multiplayer! I got home from school and dived into a domination game, I killed 30 people and died 4 times that's a + 26 K/D percentage. So now i have more kills than deaths on the leaderboard and i got a 19 kill streak on that match (Nearly 20)! Anyway, so I'm having great fun playing it and updating my blog - things are going well.

Return Of The Wii

I peeled the veg! It helps you know, peeling the veg, they like it when you do cooking. So the Wii has returned to my bedroom. A half-hour slot of online multiplayer and a quick run through a few campaign missions and I was back to normal. I'm talking about my new game, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex on the Nintendo Wii. It's very fun and you get sucked in by all the action meaning you complete the small campaign mode in under 7 hours! But, oh well there's like a whole year to spend on online multiplayer with the prestige modes and all the leveling up to be doing!

Pure Boredemness...

Okay, so my Mum banned me from the Wii on sunday for getting mad at my new game just less than 2 days after getting Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex! I know I have plenty more things to be doing, but, because it's a new game it just makes me long for it making it on my mind every second. Apparently I won't get it back by at LEAST Wednesday...

C64DTV salvaged from my brothers draw

I was in my brothers room today, annoying him as per usual, when I opened one of his draws... And what did I find underneath all of the wires, chargers and Leeds United programmes? (yes he supports LUFC. Me being a gaming person, ignores sport...especially football...) A C64DTV! Well I didn't know it was that until I found out online at Wikipedia, but that's not the point. C64 stands for Commodore 64 which I was already fully aware of as a old gaming computer system. The DTV stands for Direct to Television...
C64DTV = Commodore 64 - Direct to Television!

So... I plugged the Video and Audio wires into the T.V. and got it started on AV1. It turns out it has a whole library of games, I think there's 30 but i'll double check for you.

It has circular L and R buttons, a joystick,  A, B, C and D buttons and a reset switch. In most game the L button is used for firing  a projectile of some sort and the joystick is used to move. The lettered buttons don't do much, but I think they control some of the in-game options and so-on.

That's all for now, Tell me what you think!

DSi XL Released!

Okay guys the DSi XL has now been released (5th March) and... well, none of us have heard any fuss about it so far. The 4th edition to Nintendo's DS is far superior to its previous releases, it has 93% bigger screens than the DS Lite! It has 4.3 inch screens making it massive (compared to the DS Lite again), other than that not much has changed... You can still access DS Ware, use the camera, muck about with the sounds you can record. Nintendo states that the bigger screens are a big hit as two people, or more, can see the screens. Aswell as that, they say that the new pen-like stylus provides a more comfortable feel to the touch screen elements of the DS's games.

I hope to get one soon! Comment if you've got one, and tell me what you think!
